SBI PO is the one of most- awaited exam in the country it is a national level exam. State Bank of India or SBI conducts the exam every year for the recruitment of probationary officer. Aspirants who are keen to be a part of SBI must know all the information about the SBI PO 2018 examination. SBI PO Prelims Exam is scheduled on 1st, 7th and 8th of July 2018. SBI PO Mains Exam is scheduled on 4th August 2018.
Stages of Exam: The exam pattern will consist of 3 stages Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Group Discussion & Interview. Candidates have to pass each level to get shortlisted and proceed to the next stage. Final selection will be on the basis of the rank scored in the Mains and Interview.
Prelims Exam Structure: The Preliminary exam is divided into 3 sections The first section is the English Language which is of 30 marks and 30 questions. The second section is Quantitative Aptitude which is of 35 marks for 35 Questions and the third one is reasoning ability which is of 35 marks which consist 35 questions.
Main Exam Structure: This exam will consist of 4 sections which include Reasoning and computer aptitude, Data Analysis and interpretation, General Economy/ Banking awareness and English Language these 4 sections comprising 155 questions for 200 marks. Candidates will have the descriptive exam which consists of 50 Marks and will be of 30 minutes English language skills.

(ii) Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with two questions for 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
B. Marks Scheme Details
There will be the penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score.
