Responsibilities of SBI Clerk

1. The main responsibility is to deal with the customers and their enquiry, such as you need to talk to customers and give the correct information what they required.

2. Sometime the candidates has to work as a cashier in the single windows of the bank has to handle the deposit and withdrawal things like checkbooks, demands, tax etc. and they will be responsible for accounts on the customer by signing and verifying documents countersigning and clearing drafts and cheques.

3. They will have the responsibility to check all the details of the customer before issuing credit card, debit card and DD etc. Sometimes they has to explain about scheme, bank recent changes regarding loan scheme, deposit, funds to the customer.

4. The probation period of selected will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Service Regulations of the Bank in force at the time of Joining.

5. The probation period for new appointed Junior Associates will be the Minimum period of 6 Months.

6. Junior Associate is to handle calls for selling banking services, advisory services, and cross-selling products of the bank inside and outside the bank premises and they also maintain daily business works which were done by that bank in that particular day.
