RRB ALP 2018 Exam Pattern

Railway Recruitment Board releases vacancies for Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician Grade. As per the official notification, the process of an exam will be two stages of examination First Stage CBT and Second Stage CBT)Common for ALP and Technician. The Exam Pattern will be of 4 Stages First stage CBT, Second stage CBT, Computer Based Aptitude Test (only for ALP) and Document Verification. Candidates who had qualified in a first and 2nd stage of CBT have to appear for Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT), Marks will be normalised in all stages of the exam. 1/3rd of the marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. There is no negative marking in Computer-Based Aptitude Test (AT). The First Stage CBT is of screening nature and the standard of the question will be purely in conformity with the educational standard and or minimum technical qualification prescribed for the post. The score of first CBT will be used only for shortlisting of candidates for second stage CBT exam as per merit.

B. Marks Scheme Details

There shall be negative marking for incorrect answers in First and Second Stage CBT. 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
