Candidates, who qualify in GATE 2018 exam will be eligible to apply for ONGC recruitment through GATE from March/ April 2018. ONGC has released notification for the recruitment of trainess from various disciples of Engineering and Geo Science.
A. Examination Pattern
1. The selection of candidates will be based on your performance in the GATE 2018 Score and Personal Interview.
2. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the GATE 2018 score and this will be followed by a Personal Interview as per the criteria decided by the Management.

D. Eligibility Requirement
(a) Educational Qualifications
The Educational Qualifications for the different posts are mentioned below:
Engineers – A candidate should be a Graduate in Engineering in the concerned discipline and should have secured minimum 60% marks.
Geologists – A candidate should have a post graduation degree in the concerned discipline and should have secured minimum 60% marks.
(b) Age Limit
Drilling & Cementing – Maximum Age – 28 years.
Except Drilling & Cementing – Maximum Age – 30 years.
