A. Selection Process

1. The selection process of SBI Clerk consists of 3 stages i.e Preliminary Exam, Main Exam, Test of Official and/or Local Language.

2. Coming to the selection process of SBI PO, it consists of 3 stages i.e Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and GD/PI.

1. There were around 10 questions of Data Interpretation in the ‘Quantitative Aptitude’ section of SBI Clerk Main Exam in same way we can expect questions from Quantitative Aptitude in the ‘Data Analysis and Interpretation’ section of SBI PO Main Exam.

2. One fourth 1/4th Mark will be deducted for wrong answers for both SBI PO and Clerk.

D. SBI PO VS SBI Clerk Salary

1. Salary of Probationary Officer

Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 27,620/-

Pay Scale: Rs. 23,700-980/7-30,560-1145/2-32,850-1310/7-42,020 (4 increments)

Allowances: D.A, H.R.A/Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

2. Salary of Clerk

Starting Basic Pay: Rs. 11,765/-

Pay Scale: Rs. 13,730/16,715/20,095/28,110/- Your maximum salary will reach Rs. 31,450/-

Allowances: You will be given Furniture Allowance, House Maintenance Allowance, Books & Magazine Allowance, Briefcase Allowance, Reimbursement of Telephone Bills etc.

Compensation and Perks: Encash privilege leaves.

E. Fee Details

Fee Details for both SBI PO and SBI Clerk are same for SC/ST/PWD candidates and General, OBC Candidates.
