JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION(JEE) MAIN – 2018

JEE Main is the popular engineering entrance exam in India. This is the good news for the candidates who are looking to build their carrier. JEE Mains Offline Examination will be held on April 8, 2018(Sunday) (Pen & Paper Based Examination) and Online Exam will be held on April 15th & 16th (Sunday & Monday) 2018(Computer Based Examination). The pattern of question paper will consists of 3 sections in both two papers Paper I is for Engineering Courses consists of Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics where as Paper II is for Architecture Course consists of Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing. Each question is allotted 4 (four) marks for the correct response and one mark will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

D. Eligibility Criteria

A. Age Limit – Candidates those born on or after 1st October 1993 are eligible for writing the JEE Main examination.

Date of Birth will be considered as mentioned in secondary education board certificate.

B. Educational Qualifications

1. It is must for the candidates to pass the 12th examination/qualifying examination with 5 subjects to be eligible for JEE Main 2018.

2. The qualifying examination must be passed/appearing with five subjects. Candidates must have physics & mathematics as compulsory subjects.

3. Diploma Holders: Diploma holders may also apply for JEE Main 2018 but only eligible for admission to IITs. In other words, Diploma holders will be eligible for JEE Main so that they can further apply for JEE Advanced but not eligible for admission on the basis of JEE Main scores.

E. Marks Scheme Details

Each question is allotted 4 (four) marks for the correct response. One mark will be deducted for indicating incorrect response of each question.

Type of Question: Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). In paper -II 2 questions is for descriptive in drawing test.
