JIPMER PG is a University level entrance examination which is organized by the Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research. Every year, JIPMER PG is conducted two times in a year. On the basis of JIPMER PG 2018, the University is going to offer admission to MD/MS courses. The examination is going to be conducted on 13.05.2018(Sunday).

D. Eligibility Criteria
(a) Nationality :
i) Indian Nationals (IN):-
Applicant must be an Indian National.
ii) For Overseas Citizen of India (OCI):-
OCI registered under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 are also eligible to appear in this test and all terms and conditions applicable for Indian Nationals given in this Prospectus will be applicable to them. The candidate should submit proof of Registration as OCI under Section 7A of Citizenship Act 1955 at the time of counseling.
B. Educational Qualifications
The candidates must possess MBBS or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
(c) Minimum Qualifying Marks:-
i. For all other categories including OBC Category 55% marks in aggregate.
ii. For candidates belonging to the SC/ST Categories 50% marks in aggregate.
iii. For OPH candidates the minimum aggregate as provided in (i) and (ii) for the category to which
the candidate belongs shall apply.
E. Marks Scheme Details
Each answer with Correct Response shall be awarded FOUR MARKS. ONE (1) Mark will be deducted for Incorrect Response.
