JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Main 2017 Exam Notification

The Joint Entrance Examination conducted by CBSE is scheduled to be held on April 02, 2017 in the offline mode and on April 08 & 09, 2017 in the online mode. It will be held across 113 test centres. The last date to fill up the application form has been extended to January 16, 2017. The correction window for JEE Main 2017 Application Form will be activated from January 25 until February 03, 2017. Only those candidates who have successfully submitted the form will be able to correct specific particulars during the correction period. D. Education Qualification

Education Qualification– The candidates should have qualified higher secondary examination or equivalent either in 2015 or 2016 (appearing candidates can also apply).

  1. The candidates must have scored 50% in aggregation of Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics.
  2. The candidates must have minimum 5 subjects in higher secondary standard.
  3. The interested candidate can take up JEE Main examination only for 3 attempts.
  4. The diploma holder (3 years) can also apply for JEE Main 2017.

Age– The candidates must have aged born on after 1st October 1992 for General Candidates (for reserved categories it is 1st October 1987).

E. Marks Scheme Details

Marking Scheme: 4 marks for each correct response.

Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response or multi-responses.

Type of Question: Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). In paper -II 2 questions is for descriptive in drawing test.
