Indian Bank invites application from young and bright graduates who fulfill the eligibility criteria specified and who are interested in Banking career, for admission to the one year Post Graduate Diploma in Banking and Finance (PGDBF) course at Indian Bank Manipal School of Banking (IBMSB), which has been set up jointly by Indian Bank and Manipal Global Education Service Pvt Ltd.
Candidates will be selected through a selection process consisting of online Exam (Preliminary & Main Examination) followed by Personal Interview. Admission to PGDBF at Manipal Global Education Services, Bangalore (MaGE) comes with the assurance of a full-fledged Banking career with Indian Bank as a Probationary Officer on successful completion of the course.

C. Eligibility Criteria of Indian Bank Recruitment for PO
1.Age Limit (as on 1.7.2016)
Minimum Age Limit: 20 years (Born not later than 01-07-1996).
Maximum Age Limit: 28 years (Born not earlier than 02-07-1988).
2.Relaxations in Upper Age Limit
- OBC candidates (Non-creamy layer) for posts reserved for them → 3 years.
- PwD → 10 years (GEN), 13 years (OBC), 15 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen (including ECO/SSCO)* → 5 years.
- Candidates domiciled in Kashmir between 1st January 1980 and 31st December 1989 → 5 years.
- Persons affected by 1984 riots → 5 years.
3.Educational Qualifications (as on 01.07.2016)
You need to be a graduate from a recognized university with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PWD).
D. Selection Procedure & Exam Pattern
The selection process of Indian Bank Recruitment for Probationary Officer will consists of Preliminary Exam, Main Exam (with descriptive type test) and Interview. Here is the exam pattern in detail:
i) Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Online Examination (objective type) consists of 100 questions & you have to complete it in 1 hour.

iii) Descriptive Type Test: The descriptive test will take place on the day of Mains examination. As the mains paper gets over the screen of computer will automatically direct you to the descriptive test. The descriptive paper will start without any break or time gap. The descriptive paper will be evaluated for those candidates who will qualify in the Mains objective test.

iv) Interview:
- Students who clear the cut off score of the Main examination will be called for an Interview. The Interview is for 100 marks.
- The minimum qualifying marks in interview is 40% (35% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates).
- The weightage of the examination (Preliminary & Main) and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
- Your combined final score shall be arrived on the basis of scores obtained by you in the Prelims, Mains and Interview.
- Also, Note that:
– The above tests except the tests of English Language (Objective) and English Language (Descriptive), will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
– You are required to obtain a minimum score in each section and also a minimum total score in preliminary as well as main exam.
– Only those students who qualify the preliminary Examination cut off, will be shortlisted for Main Examination.
E. How to apply
Applications will be accepted only via online mode. You will have to fill the online application through the official website of Indian Bank. Here is the procedure to apply for Indian Bank Probationary Officer 2016:

- Before applying candidates must scan their photograph and signature,valid email id.
- Click on the Link “CWE PO/MT” to open online application for Indian Bank recruitment 2016.
- Candidates will have click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to register their application by entering their basic information in the online application form.
- Fill Indian Bank PO / Clerk Online application with correct details and sava the date.
- Provisional registration number and password will be displayed on the screeen. The same should be send to the registered mobile number.
- You can open and edit the particular details by using Provisional registration number and password.
- Upload scanned photograph and Signature.
- Now click on “Final Submit” button. There onwards no edit / change of data is not allowed.
F. Programme Fees
The programme fees for the Course will be 3,50,000/- plus service taxes, as applicable, will be paid by the students in instalments as per a fixed schedule during the 1 year programme ( inclusive of course fees, lodging, boarding and other fees, etc.).
G. Application Fee

- All other candidates – Rs. 600/-
