GATE 2017: Notification, Examination Pattern, Fee Details, Important Dates & Eligibility

GATE – (The Graduate Aptitude Test) is an high level online competition exam for admission into top engineering colleges in India. It facilitates in admissions for higher education (M.Tech./Ph.D.) in IITs, IISc, and various other Institutes in India. IIT Roorkee, the organizing institute for GATE 2017 has released Official GATE 2017 Notification.

For 1-mark multiple-choice questions, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for 2-mark multiple-choice questions, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is NO negative marking for numerical answer type questions.
