Engineering Entrance Exam (EAMCET) 2017

Engineering is one of the most demanding courses for the students after their 12thstandard. The AP EAMCET is a state level entrance test which is regulated by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada on the behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). This entrance exam will be conducted to provide admission for engineering and medical in various colleges with in Andhra Pradesh.

D. Eligibility Criteria

Age:

  1. Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December, 2017
  2. The upper age limit of 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for SC and ST candidates as on 31st December 2016.

Qualification:

  1. Candidate should qualify 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics recognized by the Board.
  2. Candidates should secure a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category)

or

  1. Candidates qualifying Diploma exam in Engineering by the State Board of Technical Education & Training, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana.
  2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination or Diploma in engineering can also apply for the examination.

E. Marks Scheme Details

Marking: 1 marks for each correct response.

Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answer.

Type of Question: Questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) with 4 options
