A. Selection Procedure

a) Engagement of Act Apprentices will be done only on the basis of marks obtained in the Matriculation Examination or 10th Class in the 10+2 Examination system and minimum marks of eligibility shall be kept at 50% in aggregate ( Excluding OPTIONAL/ADDITIONAL SUBJECT)and having I.T.I. pass Certificate is compulsory. No extra weight age shall be granted to candidates having higher education.

b) A final merit list will be prepared equal to the number of slots in the descending order of percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the Matriculate/10th Class in 10+2 Examination system separately for Liluah and Howrah.

c) Candidates finally enlisted should be engaged subject to found fit in appropriate Medical Examination by Railways as applicable for the Workshop and for the Howrah Division.

A. Age Limit (as on 1st July 2017) – Minimum Age 15 Years and Maximum Age 24 Years.

B. Educational Qualification

You must have passed your 10th class in 10+2 Examination System with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Along with that, you should also have an I.T.I certificate affiliated to NVCT.
